Monte Sarmiento – The White Diva
„I don´t wanna be a pessimist. But these aren´t the conditions you wanna climb a big wall. When you need 20 hours or more in good weather, how long does one need in bad conditions? The question is: what to do in this situation?“
To fulfil his dream, the photographer Ralf Gantzhorn travels for his seventh time to Monte Sarmiento, which is located at the most southern end of South America. More than twenty expeditions in total have failed, only two teams succeeded to reach the 2300m high main summit.
